I'm BAAAAAAAAAAACK!

Blimey, time has flown! It seems like only yesterday I was hopping on a train to Romford!

We got in early afternoon, so we headed off to Camden Market for dinner. We got some chicken noodles from a Japanese food stall, so I politely said thank you in the appropriate language, only to find out later that the girl in question was most likey not Japanese... DOH

Oh well, we found a cool looking anime shop there which had tonnes of Death Note stuff in the window, including an L poster I would've bought... if the place had been open! Unfortunately no-one knew when it would be open again, since the owner was ill. Ah well, hopefully next time it we go it will be open.

From there we moved on to Forbidden Planet, an Anime shop we knew would be open, and got a sweet surprise when I found these:

Zoids Generations Midori figurine and Zoids Graphics Twin Horn!(Clicky linky) In Forbidden Planet!!

They also had Zoids Graphics Guysack and Zoids Graphics Gungyarados!!
I was also able to confirm that TOMY UK really are re-releasing some Zoids to the UK (Death Saurer, Geno Saurer, Geno Breaker and Gordos) How sweet is that huh??

The Tuesday we decided to go to the London Dungeon. Got in half price thanks to a handy 2 for 1 voucher
It was rather amusing! It was no longer a "wander how you like" attraction like I remember, but they'd turned the whole place into a kind of tour, done with actors! We started off in the labyrinth of the lost (whilst waiting outside the Labyrinth we could hear screams from inside and Electricfox stated that they were being uttered from the lost souls of the commuters waiting for the last BR train - The LD being under the current "London Bridge" rail station.)

Our tour group was lead into the Labyrinth, where we spent a good few minutes wandering around dark, mirrored corridors. We'd passed the same screaming skeleton (whom we dubbed "Bert") three times before some pockmarked guy came to rescue us. I won't ramble on about the entire tour but I'll pick out the funny bits

I was sprayed with (fake) urine from a bladder being brandished by a crazy doctor who was examining a bubonic plague victim :S

We went into a courtroom where one of our group was accused of being a witch, after being caught dancing naked around a Pagan erection () in what was apparently a spell to summon a man (which the judge claimed, resulted in her summoning Electricfox. Had I been braver, I would've yelled out "Burn the witch! She stole my Fiancé!" but my fear of audience participation got the better of me!)
A man was then accused of "unlawful activities with a horse", the whole tour was sentenced to death by hanging for associating with an Australian and I subsequently got spat on by the keeper of Traitors Gate

I gotta mention the fire of London part! They were showing a film in a part of the dungeon made up like old London, that was explaining how the great fire of London started and as the film progressed from the fire started and spread, the lighting around us started simulating a fire getting closer. It even got smokey! I thought that was a sweet feature!

At the end of the tour we were hanged :giggle: or rather, we went on a ride that lifted us up to some nooses, then freefall dropped! Pretty nifty!
I saw the photo at the end... I had Crusnik turnip hair and Electricfox looked like he was taking quiet stroll down the beach, but for £7 we didn't buy it.

After that we moved onto the British Museum. Huge place it is! We went mostly for the Egyptian stuff, particularly the Gayer Anderson Cat (the Bastet with the earrings )

Here we also came across the ancient Egyptian squirrel (Clicky Linky

Wednesday we were suppose to be going to see Electricfox's grandparents, since it was his Granddad's birthday, but unfortunately there was a do they were going to, so we re-scheduled for the next day and went back to the RAF museum instead. We got to finally see the part of the Battle of Britain Hall that was closed to us last time and got to walk through the inside of the Sunderland (big boat plane). There was and amusing situation when a sign above the door way said "Mind your head" and I didn't even have to stoop... I r short ass! TT_TT

I finally got myself my first airfix kit! It's a Harrier I'm gonna build it, but Electricfox is gonna paint it when I get the paints. The interesting thing is that the scale of the kit is 1/72... the same as Zoids
Electricfox got a B17 "Memphis Bell" add on for one of his flight sim PC games, so he'll be nicking this machine soon to play with that!

After the RAF Museum we were going to visit Camden Market again so I could get a new shirt, but then I decided I wasn't in the mood for that, so Electricfox suggested going back to Forbidden Planet, then changed his mind, so we ended up at Westminster, waiting for Prime Minister Gordon Brown to exit the houses of Parliament, before getting moved on by a policeman. So we moved on... well we weren't gonna argue with someone carrying an MP5 Sub Machine Gun.

Thursday we visited Electricfox's Grandparents. Spent most of the time trying to fix his granddad's laptop, to which we appear to have failed TT_TT

Friday, we came home. Electricfox tried to use his Oyster card on one of our Suffolk buses... naturally that failed too!

I tried redesigning Shadow's wings while I was away. I'll put the sketches up later, but first I got a sketch I did but didn't get a chance to put up before I left for holiday.

Oh and I seem to have finally kicked my pepsi/coke habit! Yay me!!
